How the game continues

  1. Choose who finds the door.
  2. Say what is behind the door.
  3. Invent what happens next.
  4. Say the final sentence together.

You are done when

The child gives the final sentence, then say together: “The end!”

If you get stuck

If you get stuck, choose one helper: an animal, a vehicle or a magical object.

More rounds

  • Swap storyteller roles.
  • Use no more than five words per sentence.
  • Tell the same story with a silly ending.

Safety

The adult chooses a safe area. The child does not open or taste anything and does not climb.
