Say one simple word and let the child find its opposite.

Say to the child

“I say a word and you say its opposite. Then we swap roles.”

How the game continues

  1. Start with big - small and up - down.
  2. Add fast - slow and full - empty.
  3. The child then chooses a word for the adult.

You are done when

After the final step, say: “Finished!”

If you get stuck

Offer two easier choices and let the child pick one.

Safety

The child stays with the adult, does not block other people and only observes the surroundings.
