Let the child choose a colour, then put the phone away.

Say to the child

“Choose a colour and find five things outside in that colour.”

How the game continues

  1. Name one colour.
  2. Look outside and count things in that colour.
  3. If you cannot see any, choose another colour.

You are done when

After the last find, close your hand and say: “Mission complete!”

If you get stuck

If nothing appears, change the colour, shape or place. Skipping is not losing.

More rounds

  • The child gives clues to the adult.
  • Look only for tiny or giant things.
  • Describe every clue without pointing.

Safety

The child stays buckled in. The driver does not take part. Stop the activity at once if the child feels sick or uncomfortable.
